Should your HVAC installer and maintenance provider be the same company?

November 8, 2021

Sometimes our customers ask us if the installation company and the maintenance company should be one and the same.

Ideally, yes. The company that installed your system is going to know it best and have the best resources to support your system. Your installation company has a relationship with the manufacturer or distributor and the specialized knowledge to deal with any problems that arise.

That said, if you’re not happy with the company that installed your system, or if they’ve gone out of business, you’re free to choose any maintenance provider you wish. Good technicians will have the eye and expertise to service almost any system.

At Capital Heating and Cooling, we install Trane and Mitsubishi products and ensure that our technicians stay up-to-date on the latest technology and techniques through our in-house training programs. We even have a training facility with an array of systems—including the latest models—set up so our technicians can practice their installation and service skills.Whether you have one of our systems or not, consider our yearly maintenance membership to keep your system in tip-top shape and avoid emergency repairs.
