Did you know that Capital Heating and Cooling started out as Capital Sheet Metal? Back then, we built a variety of products, including duct work. We began specializing in duct work and eventually expanded into a full HVAC business.
But we never abandoned our original work. We still have an active sheet metal business with talented craftspeople who do custom work on site.
We make a wide variety of products out of copper, aluminum, diamond plate, raw steel, galvanized stainless steel, and other metals. We work with raw materials: flat sheet, square tube, or flat bar metals from which we fashion your object from scratch.
We’ve made custom planters, stainless and copper kitchen counter tops, stainless steel back splashes for homes and commercial kitchens, specialized railings, roof flashing, and chimney tops.
Our custom items are true works of art, from architectural downspouts to cupolas and tabletops. We’ve made a countless number of fireplace surrounds to accent any room.
We also offer welding services so you can fix rather than replace broken items. We’ve fixed screen doors, barbecues, RV trailers – you name it. Plus, antique items our customers want to preserve.
We re-manufacture custom parts, too. We’ve made parts for horse trailers, aircraft and even a tugboat. And we have a special place in our hearts for the marine work we’ve done. Anyone with a boat (that’s us!) knows that pretty much nothing on a boat is standard. We’re always happy to make a custom boat part just for you.
If you’d like us to create something for you, call and ask to be put in touch with Lance in our fabrication shop. From there, you can meet with the shop, send photos, or just talk through your idea on the phone. Want to bring an object to us? Drop in between 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. or make an appointment.
We’re looking forward to creating a metal project for you!
