Capital Sheet Metal Shop
New leadership, same great custom projects

Recently, two of Capital’s employees stepped up to oversee the work in our sheet metal shop: Bruce Calder and Ryan Loftin.

Bruce is our new shop foreman, leading overall shop operations and providing technical support to our field crews. He guides our custom projects, including both new projects and repairs on existing metal parts.

Ryan supports our duct production crew in the shop, providing support so the team meets its production schedules and quality standards.

The two of them work together to provide critical logistics and crew support.

Why sheet metal?

Sheet metal is our origin story. Long before we were Capital Heating, Cooling & Plumbing, our business was founded as Capital Sheet Metal. The business’s work on heating ducts is what led to the work we do today.

We never stopped rolling out sheet metal projects. In fact, it’s still a robust part of what we do. We employ a team of five who make home, auto, and garden items, from full countertops to small made-to-order car parts.

Over the decades, we’ve crafted hundreds of things out of sheet metal to beautify spaces and to create essential items for our customers.

Sheet metal projects

In commercial and residential kitchens, we’ve made stainless and copper countertops, kitchen hoods, and copper and stainless backsplashes.

Homes across the region are fitted with Capital sheet metal projects, such as flashing, chimney tops, cupolas, and fireplace surrounds.

Outdoors, homeowners have hired us to make metal barbecue hoods, decorative roofing and flashing, and custom planters and planter liners.

We’ve also re-fabricated antique car parts, made custom diamond tread, and done marine stainless and copper work.

The list is endless—we can make whatever our customers dream up.
